He has worked in addiction and associated disorders since 2003, treating compulsive behaviours, mental health conditions, and substance use disorders across one-to-one therapy and group work.

José has spent most of his career inside leading residential treatment settings, progressing from Counsellor through Senior Counsellor, Head Therapist, and Clinical Manager. In those roles, he has led multidisciplinary clinical teams and worked with people over long periods, which means he understands what sustainable recovery actually looks like and how it gets built.
