Addictions we treat

Our treatment programme is designed to meet your specific needs. We offer a variety of therapy options with varying length and intensity that can be customised around your personal and professional schedules.

I contacted Castle Health with a view to getting online support after a period in rehab. They recommended recovery coaching and arranged for me to meet my coach in person as the first of 10 meetings. I continued the coaching on Zoom as I live in France. I was very happy with my 10 sessions and feel I am in a good place to continue my recovery

YOUR THERAPIST IN EDINBURGH

Meet James Marshall Moore

James is the addiction counsellor at our outpatient rehab, Edinburgh clinic. He sees clients in person and online. He works with people living with alcohol and drug addiction at every stage of recovery – from people just starting out to people who have been through residential treatment and need ongoing support.

James has worked in addiction across the NHS, Social Services, the charity sector, and private practice. He has experience in both community and residential treatment, so understands how the wider system fits together

Alongside addiction work, James has a background in grief therapy and group facilitation. Grief and addiction often coexist; whether that’s the loss of a person, a relationship, a role, or a version of yourself.

James brings this understanding into each session
