
Ayşe Nur Karkin
Ayşe is an experienced psychotherapist with a PhD in Clinical Psychological Sciences from Koc University and an MSc in Health Psychology from Cardiff Metropolitan University. Along with her therapeutic work, she has worked as a researcher and lecturer, bringing a comprehensive academic and practical approach to her practice. Her research focused on suicide and chronic pain, informing her compassionate approach to supporting clients with these complex issues. She has also worked in non-profit addiction treatment centres, helping individuals and families address the challenges of recovery.
Specialising in trauma and common mental health disorders, Ayşe works with individuals dealing with PTSD, chronic pain, bereavement, and a wide range of mental health difficulties. Trained in EMDR, Problem Solving Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, she tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs, empowering them to achieve lasting psychological well-being and growth.
Since early 2024, she has been providing tele-therapy with Castle Health, offering personalised, client-focused support through online sessions that ensure accessibility and flexibility for clients.
