Anna brink, Therapist at Beroendekliniken

Anna Brink

Therapist, Beroendekliniken

I work with individuals and families affected by addiction, substance use, and co-dependency, offering private treatment grounded in compassion, structure, and long-term recovery. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and holistic, with a strong focus on relational healing, emotional safety, and the restoration of trust.

Alongside my professional training, I bring personal lived experience into my work. I am myself in recovery from the family disease of co-dependency, which has given me a deep understanding of how addiction impacts not only the individual, but the entire family system. I know how trust, boundaries, and a sense of safety can be deeply affected, and how they can be rebuilt with the right support.

My goal is to help individuals and families find practical tools, insight, and inner strength to heal, regain balance, and move forward in a healthier and more sustainable way.

I also have experience working with animal-assisted therapy. Using my dog and horse as part of the therapeutic process can support clients in rebuilding trust and emotional safety. Animals offer a calm, non-judgmental presence that often makes it easier to connect, regulate emotions, and create a sense of safety, especially for those who have experienced long-term relational stress.

In addition, I have a background as a project manager within interior design and communication. Structure, form, and clarity are important values for me and influence how I create a safe, supportive, and trustworthy therapeutic environment.

Outside my clinical work, I find balance and renewal through physical activity such as cycling and running, which help me stay grounded and present. Nature is an essential source of strength and perspective for me, whether through kayaking and sailing in the summer or skiing in winter, and these qualities also shape the calm and stability I strive to offer my clients.
