Private outpatient rehab in Finland

Castle Health provides private addiction treatment in Finland through a locally-based therapist, working as part of the wider Castle Health clinical network. Support is led by a registered BACP member and an advanced member of Addiction Professionals, with training in psychology, neuroscience, and addiction psychology.

Our addiction care and online mental health treatment in Finland covers alcohol, drugs, gambling, and behavioural addictions, alongside conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief.

Our rehab support for patients in Finland includes:

  • Virtual rehab programme in Finland: secure online therapy appointments accessible from your home.
  • Outpatient rehab in Finland: one-to-one sessions with a local therapist.
  • Coordination with residential treatment abroad: referral and planning for inpatient care in the UK or Ireland when needed.

Outpatient rehab in Finland

Outpatient treatment in Finland takes place through regular one-to-one sessions with your addiction therapist. Work usually begins with an assessment of current substance use, patterns of behaviour, and the situations and triggers linked to drinking or drug use.

Outpatient addiction therapy may include trauma-informed approaches where relevant, as well as support for family members. Sessions are delivered face-to-face and allow you to continue living at home while receiving specialist input.

Online rehab in Finland

Private online rehab in Finland provides access to remote addiction care and therapy through secure video sessions with the Castle Health team. This option may suit people living outside major cities or those with demanding work schedules.

Online therapy sessions follow the same clinical approach as in-person outpatient care, including relapse prevention planning and support for co-occurring mental health conditions. Our online addiction treatment in Finland is also used by people continuing care after returning home from an inpatient programme.

Mental health services

Mental health and addiction are closely connected. Many people who come to us for help with alcohol or drug use are also managing anxiety, depression, trauma, or grief. Sometimes they may not realise how much the two are linked.

Castle Health offers private online mental health support in Finland through secure video sessions with our clinical team. Sessions are available as a standalone service or alongside addiction treatment, depending on what you need.

Support is available for:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Eating disorders

You don’t need to be in active addiction to access this online support. If you’re struggling with your mental health and want to speak to someone privately, we’re here.

Inpatient rehab for people living in Finland

During your assessment, your therapist may suggest that inpatient treatment might be more beneficial to treat your addiction and mental health concerns. If this is the case, we have two locations available: Castle Craig Hospital in Scotland and Smarmore Castle rehab clinic in Ireland.

Both clinics provide round-the-clock care during detox and treatment. Our highly experienced team, including psychiatrists, therapists, nurses and doctors, is on hand to support your recovery in a quiet, confidential setting, away from the stresses of daily life.

About Castle Health

The Castle Health Group has been treating addiction since 1983. Our team includes psychiatrists, psychotherapists, addiction counsellors, and recovery coaches. They will work with you to understand not just your substance use, but everything connected to it.

We take a holistic approach. That means we treat the whole person. We look at the psychological, social, and medical aspects of addiction, together with your personal history, to build a treatment plan that reflects your individual needs.

We have developed a full range of care, from initial assessment and online therapy through to residential treatment, aftercare, and long-term alumni support.

Our admissions team can talk you through the costs involved and whether your health insurance may cover part or all of your treatment.

FAQ

How Long Does Rehab Last?

Typical addiction treatment plans last from 30, 45, 60, or 90 days depending on the type of dependency. Depending on the type of programme you choose, you may spend more or less time in rehab.

During the inpatient programme, you stay in the recovery centre for the duration of your treatment, while outpatient programmes allow you to come to the centre only when you are scheduled for therapy and treatment. Inpatient programmes keep patients away from addictive habits allowing healing to take place in a substance-free environment.

Outpatient programmes are more suited for patients who need to take care of their career and home life.

What Is an Average Day Like in a Rehab Centre?

At our rehab centre, detox is the first step in your recovery process. This could last from one day to two weeks. After you have completed the detox process, you will be able to relax and recover by engaging in creative activities provided by our clinic. Depending on your treatment plan option, you may have a specific routine such as breakfast first, then mindfulness sessions, group or individual therapy, and outdoor activities. All Castle Health programmes will be fitted to the recovery needs of the patient while providing the necessary structure and stability for lasting change.
